 Reed Hotard enters his tenth season with the Yellow Jacket program as a varsity assistant. Reed is a native of Gretna, Louisiana where he graduated from Brother Martin High School in 2004. Following graduation he attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Upon completion of his degree Reed taught and coached in Madison, Mississippi until 2010. Following his time in Mississippi, Reed moved to Mobile where he taught at St. Mary Catholic School for two years prior to coming to McGill. During Reed's time at McGill he has worked in every facet of the Jacket program. From 2011-2014 Reed served as the head freshman coach. He then served as the head coach of the Yellow Jackets JV team for the previous 5 seasons. During that time he compiled a record 85-14. Including an undefeated 14-0 season in 2019. Reed resides in Spanish Fort with his wife Jane Allen, and their three children, Annie (5), Will (3), and Kathryn (9 months)
